How to Make a Personalised Chhath Puja 2026 Greeting Card With Name and Photo

Understanding Chhath Puja

Chhath Puja is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated primarily in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to the Sun God, Surya, and Chhathi Maiya. The festival emphasizes gratitude for the nourishment provided by the sun and the cycle of life.

Traditionally, the festival involves rituals performed over four days, where devotees fast, offer prayers, and present offerings of fruits and thekua (a type of sweet). This festival is not just a religious observance; it fosters community bonding and strengthens family ties.

For family: Express love and gratitude, reflecting on shared memories during past festivals.

For friends: Highlight the joy of festivities and the importance of their presence in your life.
